Nature for mindful awareness and mental health
I spend a lot of time outside and in nature, and I strongly believe that being outdoors in our beautiful region of South Devon can promote a mindful awareness, improve mental health, and facilitate growth.
Taking Mental Health & Wellness Outdoors
Mobile Counselling AND Mindfulness Walks
I am very excited to be able to offer the use of my camper van to clients who live in rural locations or who may find it difficult to travel to access counselling in mainstream areas. The camper is available as a mobile counselling hub, which can be used in a mutually convenient location.
I am passionate about incorporating multiple approaches and I want to utilise the benefits of the great outdoors to improve your mental health and wellbeing, offering a walk in the woods or a stroll on the beach, and using my mobile camper to facilitate this with the option for a cuppa afterwards.
For people who suffer with agoraphobia my hope is to help you transition from your home, into my mobile camper. This can be parked immediately outside your property, with a goal to eventually be able to drive further afield; by using the comfort and security of the camper, alternative therapies, along with relaxation, visualisations and/or guided meditations.
Mobile Counselling AND cold water therapy
Cold water therapy has endless benefits for body and mind, and is proven to help alleviate some of the symptoms of low mood, anxiety and other mental health issues. I am proud to be able to combine my decades of experience in counselling and therapy with the benefits of cold water immersion. Available in a range of locations through my mobile counselling camper van, we will spend some time using traditional counselling and therapy methods to get to the root of the trauma, before supplementing this with cold water therapy, whether that may be a sea swim in Torbay, a river dip on Dartmoor or a cold plunge at Shoalstone Sea Water Pool in Brixham. We will round off the session by warming up with hot drinks.
